How we transformed productivity for one of our customers
One of our customers has a sales force of over 20 sales people on the road visiting their clients every day. They look at what is on the shelf, and make notes so they can turn it into an order.
In order for the shipment to arrive at the customer’s store the next morning, the sales person had to transfer the order from paper to their old ERP before three pm each day. This effectively consumed over 25% of their day in non selling-value-added tasks.
Using Power Apps, our team built a mobile sales order entry application that can be used on any iOS or Android tablet. The mobile sales app gives each salesperson the ability to enter a live sales order while getting access to real time data such as customer specific pricing, inventory levels, and customer credit status.
Each salesperson now has 25% more time in their day to spend on doing what they do best; namely increase revenue and customer facing time.
